Louis Frank is a Swiss / Belgian musician, composer, actor and photographer. He studied at Carnegie Mellon University, Pittsburgh, USA and the Moscow Art theater( Moscow art theater), Moscow, Russia, under the direction of Oleg Tabakov. He is the co-founder of the Sauvage Public ensemble, an experimental theater group in Montreal, Canada. He wrote, produced and directed the short film Kartina, winner of the Prix Nouveaux Medias au Festival International du film Francophone en Acadie, which was sold to Radio Canada for their program silence on trial. Louis worked as a Junior copywriter for the canadian Agency Cossette and wrote radio, print, and television copies for Mc Donald’s, Coca-Cola, Bell Canada, Museum of Montreal, and General Motors. Then he became known as the frontman of the cult Ukrainian band “aesthetic education” and for starring in the award-winning film directed by Alexey Herman Jr.” Under electric clouds “(Silver bear for outstanding artistic achievement, Berlin film festival 2015). Currently, he composes music for film and theater, works on a photo exhibition, and directs a documentary.
